Something not working, or not making sense? Email us. A real person reads every one, and we aim to reply within two working days.
Tell us what you were doing when it happened, what you expected, and what you got instead. If you can, add which iPhone you have and which version of iOS it is running. That is usually enough for us to find it.
Open the place and use the flag on it. That reaches us with the place attached, which is faster and more useful than an email describing it, and it tells us exactly which entry you mean.
Our suggestions are built from open map data covering the whole country, so some of it is out of date and some of it is plain wrong. Flagging is genuinely the thing that fixes it. It is not a formality.
Every plan in the app has a menu. From it you can hide the plan, report it, or block the person who posted it. We look at every report, and we aim to act within 24 hours. There is no tolerance for abuse or for content that is harmful to children, and where something looks like a criminal offence we will cooperate with the police.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, call 999. Please do not wait for us.
In the app, open About and tap Delete my data. That removes the plans you have shared from our server, drops your notification token, and clears everything saved on your phone. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need an account to do it.
If you would rather we did it for you, email the address above.
Three ways to start, and you pick: a free week with everything unlocked and nothing charged, £3.99 a year, or £9.99 once, for life.
The free week really is free. No card, nothing renews, and nothing to cancel. On day eight you carry on with the free version unless you decide to buy Plus.
How do I cancel the yearly one? On your iPhone: Settings, your name at the top, Subscriptions, Skedaddle. You can also get there from the Plus screen in the app. Cancelling stops the next payment, and you keep Plus until the year you have paid for runs out. The £9.99 for life has nothing to cancel.
Got a new phone, or reinstalled? Open the Plus screen in the app and tap Restore purchase. It comes back at no cost.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, because Apple takes the payment. Request one through Apple's own refund page or from your purchase history. We cannot issue a refund on their behalf, but do email us anyway if something was not what you expected, and we will help where we can.
What the app collects, why, and how to remove it is in the privacy policy. The short version: children's ages and your location stay on your phone, and the only thing we hold is a name, and only when you choose to share or join a plan.
What is and is not allowed in the app, how we handle reports, and where responsibility sits when you take your family out are in the terms of service.
Skedaddle is made by Danny Hearn and operated by Deeply Human Design Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14615013, registered office: 10 Weston Lane, Totnes, TQ9 5UN).
